I thought this episode was.. alright. Im not to big on the romance in this show or just in general, but kinda especially this show, it just feels so cishet idk (and ShrinRan in particular, although I'd be lying if i say i didn't like them a bit. It'd be hard not to after 1000 episodes).

Interesting how this episode was on Valentine's day. I know there's another Valentine's day episode later in the series (in the 200s), implying that one year had past between those episodes but didn't Gosho say in an interview that only 6 months have past in the entire show? Hmm.

The victim's voice actor!? Hattori Heiji is that you?!?!?!. Its kinda fun to hear him without the osakan accent. To bad he had to die tho, he was hot (also an asshole tho).

Usually i find any romance on Conan's side insufferable (cuz even tho i know hes actually 17 he still looks 7 you know) but i feel like i cant he mad at him being all protective, cuz that guy absolutely grinded my gears. Like sir thats a high schooler you're hitting on !? It was kinda funny when him and Conan were about to duel it out. Like sir thats a literal child. Chill.

I didn't know the watch's first appearance was in a filler! Kogoro's first hit with it was very normal compared to the later ones.

Speaking of normal the next Conan's hint guy says it so normally. It almost sounds weird.

I mean, Conan is also a weekly detective TV show. To this day it's still airing in Japan on a weekly basis I believe.

I think nearly if not more than half the Conan anime episodes are TV Originals (fillers)

i think the six months thing is probably due to it being a floating timeline :/ (otherwise the timeline would just make no sense haha....)

Honestly when it comes to the romance according to the author conan usually worries so much about Ran and if she’s allright I mean in shonen besides Doraemon I’m not used to seeing this in general considering in shonen unless it’s romantic comedy is just hit or miss

I mean it’s not like the characters made out and also we get a recap at the beginning that kodo is a now a young kid named conan
